At Live! School of Music, we aim to inspire and empower individuals through the transformative nature of music. Our inclusive environment fosters skill development and creativity, allowing students to cultivate a lifelong relationship with music under the guidance of experienced mentors who are active professionals in the industry.

We offer opportunities for students to access top universities and scholarship programs, creating a vibrant community of musicians who excel in their craft and inspire others. Together, we shape the future of music through collaboration, creativity, and shared experiences.

  • Our instructors are experienced musicians and educators with backgrounds in performance, recording, and teaching. Many are active performers in Miami’s music scene. Just as importantly, they are kind, inviting human beings who bring out the best in others and are committed to each student’s well-being, musical growth, and interpersonal progress.

  • Yes. We are proud partners with Berklee City Music, Rockschool International, and StepUp scholarships, giving our students access to global opportunities and financial support.

  • We currently teach at North Miami and Hallandale locations, serving families across Miami-Dade and Broward.

The Journey

At LIVE! School of Music, the stage is our classroom. Our students have performed at some of Miami’s most iconic venues—PAMM, the Adrienne Arsht Center, Miami Book Fair, GroundUP Festival, Atlantic Village Winter Fest, and Magic 13 Brewery—gaining real-world experience that builds confidence, teamwork, and artistry. Every show is more than a concert—it’s a milestone in their growth as musicians.

Since 2007, Live! School of Music has grown alongside its students—evolving into a project-based, performance-driven community where music comes alive beyond the classroom.

Founded by Juan Pablo Díaz, Live! began as a passion for teaching and performing. Soon it became a family project, with Juan joined by his wife Lu and brother Daniel—each bringing their own musicianship and heart to the school.

From the start, our students have stepped onto meaningful stages at Miami’s top venues, participated in masterclasses with world-class artists, and found a community where their creativity is celebrated. Many alumni now lead their own bands, studios, and artistic ventures.

With campuses in North Miami and Hallandale, we remain dedicated to a hands-on curriculum that prepares students not only for auditions and higher education, but for a lifelong relationship with music.
