Meet Space-Pop Masters Magdalena Bay | Based in LA
We had the honor to watch them performing live at a festival in Key Biscayne, and we were blown away. In fact, we can't wait to see them again.
Mica Tenembaum and Matthew Lewin became LIVE! students around 2009, where they met their current drummer-extraordinaire, Nick Villamizar, who, together with Mariano Sarate on the bass, formed Tabula Rasa and began experimenting with original songwriting and composition as high school students.
Today, even though Tabula Rasa no longer is, its former band members are still in touch, and three of them make up the super fun, multi-layered band called Magdalena Bay: Mica on voice, synths, and songwriting, Matthew on guitar, bass, and production, and Nick on the drums.
