Training & inspiring the next generation of musicians.

We're grateful to have been on this journey since 2007, present throughout and continuing to evolve our methods and curriculum toward project-based music education that expands beyond the classrooms.

First Live Band Photo

Our first gig! A moment engraved in our hearts ♥️

Read more about the beginnings of LIVE! from the perspective of former student and team member Mark on our blog.

Juan Pablo Diaz, founder and director of the school, conjured this project from a desire to forge his future around something meaningful, using his skills and experience performing and teaching music. He assembled a dedicated team of fellow musicians, his wife, and his brother, and from then on, we've been doing and perfecting what we love, giving everything we've got.

Since the beginning, we've offered students countless performances at some of Miami's most incredible venues, hosted workshops and shows with renowned musicians, and nurtured a community of well-rounded artists. Some of them now lead successful bands and recording studios.

Today, with locations in North Miami and Hallandale, we offer accredited education as a stepping stone to higher education with practical uses for our students' musical abilities and knowledge.

We are forever and unconditionally grateful for this experience.

— Juan, Lu & Daniel

The Locations:

Since our first location in North Miami's 123rd, we've worked on our spaces as a team, inviting family and friends for a helping hand. From the design of the space to the paint on the walls, the booths' assembly in Hallandale, the decoration, and all the construction decisions, we conjure spaces that invite you to stay, collaborate, inspire creativity, and create community.

The Shows:

Our team and students have produced and collaborated on unique performances at Miami's most relevant cultural venues and events, such as PAMM, American Airlines Arena, Miami Book Fair, Adrienne Arsht Center, GroundUp Fest, JAZZ at MOCA and our newest Hallandale location at Atlantic Village, just to name a few. We work intently on establishing a network of forward-thinking organizations and individuals to produce and participate in clinics, workshops, and festivals for our students and city.
